Aine O'Donoghue

Aine is a talented concertina player who comes from Kilfenora, but is also strongly connected to Doolin as she is the granddaughter of Doll & Gus O’Connor. She grew up surrounded by music, attending many sessions in North Clare with her father, Noel O’Donoghue, and was taught by two fantastic teachers, Edel Fox & Tim Collins. Aine’s style is strongly rooted in Clare’s music and her delicate and melodic approach to tunes make it an absolute pleasure to listen to.

Aine Griffey

Another young musician from Kilfenora, Aine Griffey has both a classical and traditional background. Her traditional fiddle playing, which she shares at many sessions in and around Doolin, is an authentic expression of the music of North Clare and her delightful playing has recently earned her a place in the world famous Kilfenora Ceili Band.

Deirdre Scanlan

Deirdre is a traditional singer and guitar player from West Limerick, but has been living in Co. Clare for several years. Her powerful, soulful renditions of Ireland’s most beautiful songs are recognized all over the Ireland and she is a much sought after musician, whom we are absolutely delighted to welcome in our concert series.
